I initially bought this book to read as research while I was writing my own book, REMEMBER ME: A LOVE STORY, and for that alone I found it to be an extremely valuable resource for me, thank you, Richard Webster.
Before I read this book I was already familiar and comfortable with the subject of past-life regression, but I was not aware there were so many different methods/approaches to experiencing a regression.But who better than a hypnotherapist to combine each methodology approach with actual I initially bought this book to read as research while I was writing my own book, REMEMBER ME: A LOVE STORY, and for that alone I found it to be an extremely valuable resource for me, thank you, Richard Webster. Before I read this book I was already familiar and comfortable with the subject of past-life regression, but I was not aware there were so many different methods/approaches to experiencing a regression.But who better than a hypnotherapist to combine each methodology approach with actual real-life cases of people who have evidenced experiences through the utilization of those various approaches. Webster combined just the right amount of credibility-building documentation with easily readable case studies. All-in-all, I found the book to be a fascinating and educational read. I spent about 75% of this book thinking, “people can really do that?” By the conclusion of the book, I was ready to concede that certain people with grand capacities for disciplined meditation can do that.
That clearly doesn’t include everyone. Basically, Webster walks the reader through various practices for accessing past lives which all begin with complete and utter relaxation and a determination not to try too hard. But once you’re relaxed all things are possible whether you’re dreaming, scrying, dowsing, listening to a clock, walking down a staircase, opening doors, traveling in a time machine, exploring your Akashic record, or chatting it up with a spiritual guide aka a dead relative. I suspect I’d need the discipline of a therapist guide to make any of them work for me, but for the already spiritually advanced, I’m sure the strategies would work but then the spiritually advanced would already know them so I guess the book is written to give the average Joe and Joette some symbolic attainment of success to help along their belief and once they believe they can then hire someone to help them do the real work of past life regression.
